WEDNESDAY to JAN 30, GLOUCESTER: If you like your supernatural thrills served up with a dose of comedy, the latest production by the Crown Players should appeal. Ghost Writer by David Tristram is a haunting thriller set around the suspicious death of a young actress and her husband's bid to find out the truth. With echoes of Hamlet in this unusual play, there are also plenty of laughs and enough twists to keep the audience guessing. Performed at the King's Theatre in Gloucester, the Crown Players' production runs over four nights next week.
The play opens on the night of the first anniversary of the tragic death of famous actress Ruby Pinfold. Her widower, Edward, is a playwright who is still struggling to come to terms with her death.See the full content of this document
