THE cuts approved at the council meeting on February 16 proves that whatever the councillors may say 'democracy is dead'' and consultations are a waste of time.
Council leader Mark Hawthorne states that they have listened to the public and are acting in accordance with their consultations but I am not aware of any other petitions with 15,000 plus signatories being disregarded in this manner.See the full content of this document
