A 36-year-old Gloucester man has been cleared of being part of a plot to con a national bank out of thousands of pounds, by getting them to make false payments to a carpet firm.
Jahangir Akhtar, of Finlay Road, was found not guilty yesterday of conspiracy to defraud the Royal Bank of Scotland, by trading under the name of Kashmiri Handicraft Carpets, by causing credit and debit payments to be falsely credited to that company.See the full content of this document
