Summary
THERE appears to be little or no evidence to suggest that the main arteries of Britain flow more freely since the introduction of the Highway Agency's patrol vehicles to our woebegone choked and chocker motorways.
Indeed, many are the times that I've witnessed the patrol's, erm, officers exacerbate minor motorway problems. Mountains and molehills...their job description is, as I understand it, to ease the flow of traffic by moving damaged or broken-down vehicles to safety and advise the old bill of events.
