GRANDAD John Bayliss has pulled out all the stops to help his grandson who has been battling cancer When Alex Bayliss, 12, of Longlevens, was diagnosed with brain cancer aged just five months, he was determined not to let it affect his life.

The sporty youngster, a pupil at Sir Thomas Rich's School, is currently undergoing his fourth course of chemotherapy.
