WHEN we elect people to represent us on the council we do so in the belief they will use their integrity and intelligence to come to proper decisions on our behalf.
The decision to refuse planning to The New County Hotel is scandalous - this business would have bought employment at a much- needed time, a boost to the economy and a potential successful enterprise. That people are prepared to invest in our city should surely be encouraged, and the spurious 'reasons' given by the opposing members to refuse planning should make them hang their heads in shame.See the full content of this document
