TWO men who terrified a mum and her four young children when they burst into their home armed with a claw hammer and a bottle, have each been jailed for three years.

The woman and her screaming children, aged from four to 10, took refuge in a bathroom as Dominik Modrzewski, 21, and Patryk Gotdowick, 20, ransacked the house in Tredworth. Modrzewski even hit the family dog with a hammer during the burglary, Gloucester Crown Court heard.
