THE controversial new Pounds 750,000 Wye Valley cycle path is set to be given the green light by the Forest of Dean District Council.
Officers have recommended that councillors grant permission for the five-mile route between Brockweir and Sedbury at a development control committee meeting on November 9. The proposed route, which would follow the disused Wye Valle Railway has met with strong opposition from local residents and parish councils who have written more than 130 letters of objection.See the full content of this document
