I Must correct the seriously misleading errors contained in Terry Haines' letter.
GL1 and the Oxstalls Tennis Centre are wonderful sports and leisure facilities and the City Council does not plan to "privatise" them. We still own them and we are simply proposing to create a charitable trust to run them on our behalf. Our extensive research has shown that a charitable trust would be better placed than the council to develop and expand services in the future.See the full content of this document
