MORE than 100 homes could be built on the site of a controversial abattoir in Cinderford. Housing association Two Rivers wants to buy Ensors of Gloucestershire slaughterhouse site on Valley Road. They have already bought an adjoining site and now have their sights set on the abattoir, which has caused misery for local residents who cannot open their windows in the summer because of the smell.
