GETTING prescriptions in Abbey could become easier if plans to build a new pharmacy are approved. The Hadwen Medical Practice in Glevum Way has applied for planning permission to install a temporary building in the car park. If approved, the pharmacy will be open seven days a week and doctors hope it will provide greater continuity of care for the patients. Practice manager Ian Robertson said: "We hope it will be run by a group of pharmacists who have a wealth of experience.
"It will mean better access for the patients and a continuity of service for them."See the full content of this document
