PARENTS of children with learning disabilities are being invited to a free workshop in Stroud. Mencap is holding a free planning for the future seminar in Stroud next month to offer advice to parents making financial plans for their child with a learning disability when they are no longer around. The event is being held at The Subscription Rooms, in George Street, on Monday October 17 between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
At the seminar, an independent local legal professional specialising in wills and trusts will be talking about the options for how best to leave money in a will to a loved one with a learning disability, ensuring they get the best financial support they are entitled to.See the full content of this document
