THE headlines on Saturday's Citizen, "Tesco is back on the cards", referring to new plans for the store being built on the old Hurrans Garden Centre site, would have pleased a lot more people in Churchdown, if it had read "Medical Centre is back on the cards".
With two Co-ops within spitting distance of each other is there really a need for another supermarket? What has happened to the new doctors' medical centre that was on it's way, with plans sorted, locals informed, then suddenly nothing. I can only believe that money became hard to obtain, not like Tesco, who seem to be able to pull money from somewhere.See the full content of this document
