NEWENT club president Mike Poole has been made an honorary patron member of the Gloucestershire RFU for services to rugby.
At the GRFU AGM and awards ceremony, Poole received a framed scroll from GRFU president Tony Hickey in acknowledgement of extraordinary service given freely to the game of rugby in Gloucestershire.
