TILER George Jurek liked the house he was working on in Quedgeley so much he bought it. Originally from Poland, George had been working as a tiler for 10 years when he found the house he had always dreamed of. George, who got married earlier this year, said: "I learnt and practiced the tiling trade in Poland for over a decade before moving to England.
My wife and I were living in an old Victorian house in Gloucester and she worked as a nurse caring for the elderly. "We were looking for somewhere new and, as I tiled the two show homes at Millers Gate I realised this had everything that we were looking for."
