O'neill Is Forced to Retire Don't Push It ; Racing

Summary

DON'T Push It, the horse who gave Jonjo O'Neill "one of the greatest afternoons of his life" when winning the Grand National in 2010, has been retired. O'Neill took the decision after the 12-year- old failed to sparkle on the gallops at Jackdaws Castle and he will now be sent to pasture at owner JP McManus' stud in Ireland.

The eight-time winner amassed over Pounds 750,000 of prize money in his 29-race career, the highlight of which came when he won the National with AP McCoy in 2010.
