Ami, in the story, apparently has had four interviews in 12 weeks. Using web job sites I applied for 10 positions a day. That's 50 a week. And then followed them up with calls to check progress. Are there above high expectations about what real life is? Maybe teens can say 'what's the point' when they still have money in their pocket.
