Summary
From today, parents will be able to ask police if anyone with access to their child is a convicted paedophile. Details about child sex convictions will be revealed under a Home Office pilot scheme if police think a child may be in danger. The trials are a response to calls for a 'Sarah's Law' which allows more information to be published about where paedophiles live. What do you think of the scheme?
"WE SHOULD know where they are at all times. I don't want anyone like this to be anywhere near my children. If we knew who they are and where they are at all times perhaps these horrendous things would not happen. They should be named and shamed or made to be in a chain gang so everyone can see them and know what they have done."See the full content of this document
