BT has granted a Community Connections Award of a laptop computer. With this comes a broadband internet connection for one year and the Residents' Group intends to make this available for use in the One Stop Shop when it reopens. Gloucester City Homes has awarded Pounds 500 Community Funding for the continuing restoration work of the Community Rose Garden in Rectory Road. Thank you to BT and Gloucester City Homes for their generous contributions and support for our community. Computers with internet access are available for use at Matson Library. The library is open five days a week (closed Friday and Sunday) and can be contacted on 01452 524 370. I've just had news that the Rev Kevin Durrant, of Matson Baptist Church, has recently been in hospital. Kevin works hard and takes an active role in the community and organising events. I hope you're better now, Kevin.
