Summary
STILT walkers, rodeo rides, live entertainment and dancers are all lined up to entertain revellers at a fundraising ball in Newent next month. This is the 15th year that The Midsummer Ball has been held and in that time organisers have raised more than Pounds 40,000 to local charities. The black-tie event is held in the grounds of Boulsdon Croft in Clifford's Mesne, with music, dancing and a pig roast.
Organiser Laurence Venn said: "We have donated thousands of pounds to local causes such as schools, scouts, youth cafes and care homes, as well as, more recently, more than Pounds 5,000 to Gloucestershire's ITU."See the full content of this document
