Summary


THIS picture I took of a Tesco trolley sums up everything that is wrong with Britain today.

TV advertising is full of ambulance-chasing law firms encouraging us to sue anyone and everyone over the most trivial bumps and scratches, so to combat such legal action, all manner of ridiculous rules and regulations come into force, such as cafe owners having to warn customers that the coffee they have purchased 'may be hot'. Isn't that the whole point of buying it? When did you last choose to buy cold coffee? But top of the list was the recent staggering case in which a burglar was let out of jail because locking him up 'breached his family's human rights'!
