I WAS so pleased to see the photo and article about the 'Amazing Jane' MBE in The Citizen of October 13, who, with the help of family members and the PCF (which she founded), has completely changed the lives of thousands of children and their families who live off the 'Smoky Mountain' dump site near Manila in the Philippines.

Partly due to the school which they are building there, no children lost their lives in the recent very violent storms.
