Summary
WITH a husband recovering from an op, the brawn of the family busy revising and a pile of wood chippings to move, the chance to test drive an electric wheelbarrow came at just the right time.
The Autobarrow has been launched by Tewkesbury firm The Really Useful Vehicle Company and aims to plug the gap between the old- fashioned manual wheelbarrow and ride-on vehicles. It is powered by a 250 watt electric motor that will run for about four hours when fully charged. The overall width is only 600mm, making it easy to fit through gates, and it can carry loads of up to 100kg. There's a semi-automatic tipping mechanism and an electronic speed control on the handle.See the full content of this document
