Education has been our business for nearly 200 years. Our heritage lies in the Mechanic's Institutes of the 1830s, with our Francis Close Hall campus founded in 1847 as the Cheltenham Training College. We gained University status in 2001 and are celebrating our proud history and bright future during our 10th anniversary year.
