Russ Green 01452 830 571 Huntley: WE OFTEN often hear it said that what a shame some of our churches are not used apart from a service or two on a Sunday. However, on Saturday, October 3 at 7pm there is to be a concert which will be given by the Baccus Four and Take 6. Tickets are Pounds 8 each (OAPs Pounds 5) and are available now so don't delay and be disappointed. You can get them from Angela on 01452 860637 or Wendy on 01452 830246. Proceeds are in aid of the Parish Church Restoration Fund, so please give them your support if possible. Huntley Ladies Tuesday Group are having a theatre trip on Thursday, September 17 to see Ben Elton's Queen We Will Rock You. Ticket prices are members Pounds 34, nonmembers Pounds 9. The coach will pick up from the Huntley Village Hall at 5.45pm. If you are interested, give Sharon a ring on 01452 831366, but don't delay. The next whist drive organised by the village hall committee will be held in the hall of course on Monday, August 24 at 7.30pm. Admission is just Pounds 1.50 which includes a cup of tea/ coffee. Everyone is welcome to join them with the proceeds being devoted to hall funds.
