1,750 Homes Plan Rejected On Appeal

PLANS to build 1,750 homes between Innsworth and Longford have been halted after an inspector turned down a developer's appeal.

Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government Eric Pickles and planning inspector Christina Downes have ruled against the plans submitted by Robert Hitchins to build the homes west of Innsworth Lane. The news has been welcomed by residents, politicians and campaigners.
