The Citizen welcomes the Prime Minister's initiative to stem the tide of job cuts by introducing pounds2,500 "golden hellos" for companies which recruit people who have been unemployed for more than six months.
The scheme falls very much in line with the objectives of The Citizen's Gloucestershire Bites Back campaign in that it is designed to increase business confidence and encourage local firms to take on unemployed folk, especially young people.See the full content of this document
