ON Saturday, July 16 the 4Villages Parish Plan Survey will be launched at a grand pig roast at the Montague Inn at Clements End.
The four villages are Ellwood, Clements End, Sling and Little Drybrook, which have come together to develop a plan for their residents through public consultation. There was some debate about the '4 Vi l -lages' name, as traditionally these four areas, as in other parts of the Forest, are regarded as 'settlements' or even 'encroachments', but perhaps '4Encroachments' or '4Settlements' doesn't carry the same impact as '4Villages'.See the full content of this document
