Summary
OH, farewell to our good friend, Now your life's journey has reached its end! No more struggle, no more pain, We will not see your like again! Life was always hard for you, Most people would not have a clue. How your life was such a task, More than anyone else could ask! A drop or two of rum, Warmed up your slender silky tum! It hoped to cope with all the pain, And bring a little sunshine in life's rain. Most of Gloucester would meet you, As around the City your travelled. Tapping on your "Zimmer Frame", How your many friends at you marvelled! You cooked and cleaned, Within your means, With your hard life you coped. And since your early teens, You liked a laugh and a joke! You were so proud of your young family, You spoke of them all the time.
And now you're gone - not finally, I remember you in this rhyme!See the full content of this document
