Family Car Rammed in Rage, Claim

Summary

A MOTORIST is accused of ramming a family's car twice during a prolonged incident of road rage in Cinderford. Daniel Shurmer, of Mousel Lane, Cinderford, is alleged to have reversed into a car containing Jason and Aiga Graham and their children on the A4136 between Five Acres and Brierley on March 26.

A court heard the 23-year-old rammed the car following an alleged collision between the defendant's Renault Clio and the Grahams' vehicle. After the alleged collision the Grahams followed the defendant to get his registration number. Shurmer entered no pleas to charges of dangerous driving, using threatening words and behaviour, driving without insurance and without a licence, when he appeared before city magistrates on Monday.
