Gloucestershire Police Authority won't sell Lydney station because it can't get a police point in the town library. But after the public put forward the idea of a police point moving into Tetbury Town Council offices - previously the old police station and last occupied by Gloucestershire Constabulary in 1969 - it means the existing station can be sold.
