Summary
I HAVE commented many times about the possible closure of Bishops' College and its replacement with an academy.
I have no problem with an academy, just not for my child. However, getting him into any school if Bishops' closes will be a nightmare! We won't have a choice and the L.A must know this. Bishops' has been broadcasted as a failing school so which schools will want to take on any of its pupils? This has been a short and depressing consultation period giving rise to panic, fear and worry in both parents and pupils. Let's hope that Jane Miles and the rest of the parents' hard work and efforts have not gone to waste. Academy you can have, but no need to destroy Bishops' College to do it!See the full content of this document
