THREE swimming stars from the Gloucester City Swimming Club made history by scooping a record medal haul at the National Age Group Championships in Sheffield.
The talented trio scooped three silver medals and one bronze - a record number for the club at a National Championship and showcasing the outstanding competitive development programme at the club Alex Seymour and Matthew Munden both aged 11 and 12-year-old Sophie Hall represented the club in 11 heats, qualifying for a superb eight finals. Only the top ten fastest swimmers in each age group, from across Great Britain qualify for a final, highlighting the achievement of the trio.
