CANCER patients in Gloucestershire have a better chance of surviving for longer now than at any other time in the last 15 years, according to experts.
The numbers of adults still alive one year after diagnosis has increased by just over three per cent in a decade, figures from the Office for National Statistics show. Their study shows 63.9 per cent of sufferers of all cancers, aged 15-99, were alive one year after diagnosis in 1996, compared to 67 per cent in 2006.See the full content of this document
