A "GREEN deal" has been reached which commits the UK to 20 years of drastic cuts in carbon emissions, according to reports. Greenpeace has announced that a "strong intervention" by PM David Cameron had resolved a battle within the Cabinet over the merits of the far-reaching deal to cut emissions by 50 per cent on 1990 levels by 2025.
