Summary
I SEE from the agenda that Tewkesbury Borough Council planning officer is recommending that delegated planning permission be given for the 81 dwellings at the Kennel Lane/Watermead site, subject to a million and one provisos. The planning committee will receive an update on the mystery pipe/culvert that evidently crosses the site at its meeting on Tuesday at 9am. So it looks like all the pleas from hundreds of residents about dangerous access, flooding problems, remoteness to buses, shops, schools etc will be ignored. It is reported that seven senior managers with 187 years' experience between them are leaving Tewkesbury Borough Council. During my 17 years as a borough councillor, I asked many difficult-toanswer questions on behalf of Brockworth's residents. While I didn't agree with many of the answers, I always felt I was receiving an honest reply based on many years of experience. Good luck to all those that are leaving. TBC will be the poorer without you.
Some good news. After three months of waiting the pothole outside the vet's in Green Street has been filled in. I complained again a couple of weeks ago on the county council website that nothing had happened for months. Those of us with internet access can complain to the county council website about potholes, street lamps not working etc.See the full content of this document
