Summary
Russ Green 01452 830571 Aston Ingham: APART from having a Reading Group in the village, there is also a Book Club. They are having a short break at present but they will be getting back into business on Saturday, September 19, at 11am. The weather hasn't been too bad after all, so hopefully you have been able to sit out in the garden and have a good read. Do take along any books for exchange after you have finished with them. Parish council meetings are held every month except during August. These take place on the second Monday of the month at 7.30pm. Business is usually completed by 10pm and parishioners are always welcome to attend the meetings. The September meeting takes place on Monday, September 14, in the village hall.
Churcham: The August meeting of the Gardening Club took the form of an American Supper in the lovely garden at Packed Peace, by kind invitation of Tess and Don Stevens. It was a beautiful evening and members were able to wander around the garden and chat in the late sunshine, enjoying the views towards May Hill and the Forest of Dean. The members were joined by visitors from Canada and London who gave an added interest to the chatting. A lovely supper followed - some eating in the garden and others indoors, and the puddings were scrumptious.See the full content of this document
