IN my second parliamentary question to the Prime Minister, I focused on apprenticeships with particular reference to the recent launch of the Engineering Centre at Stroud College. This initiative could be of pivotal importance to our local economy.
My question drew attention to the need for business to support such provision especially as the economy is growing again and, if this is to be sustained, our manufacturing sector, in particular, will want to recruit additional skilled individuals.See the full content of this document
